David Yoak

David is a graduate of Michigan State University where he earned a BA in Economics and Political Economy. After graduation, David pursued a career in banking and shortly turned his sights on insurance with an emphasis on the needs of small to medium size businesses. His success led him from working with an insurance company to a career as an independent agent. After 12 years of working for others, he and his business partners acquired Grimes Insurance. David is a licensed agent in 35 states and has attained his designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor. He has served on several insurance advisory boards, presented to various trade organizations and local governments as an expert in the field of insurance. Within his local community, David has served as a mentor in his church as a Sunday school teacher and Confirmation class leader. He has coached youth baseball, youth soccer and served as a youth leader and Charter Organization Representative for the Boy Scouts of America. Throughout his life, David’s journey has been devoted to God and his family. His college sweetheart and wife Kimberly together with their two wonderful children Griffin and Kerby, enjoy traveling and spending time at the lake.
