Sherry Burrell

President

Sherry is an Atlanta native and grew up in Atlanta, graduating from Fulton High and attending Clayton State University. She began her insurance career while still in college, starting with a small 2 person agency, moving to larger independent insurance agencies and eventually purchasing with her business partners, Grimes Insurance in 1999. She is licensed in 15 states and has completed advanced designations of Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and Charter Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Sherry provides management for accounting, human resources and technology services within the agency. Sherry has current and past leadership roles with the Board of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia, the Education Committee of the Applied Client Network and the Board of SecureRisk. Sherry also presents educational sessions for the Applied Client Network at its National and local chapter meetings. She is married to her lifelong sweetheart Vince and enjoys time with her three children, Jared, Kerry and Angela and their families, that include seven wonderful grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, sewing and quilting.
